Jeff is the founder of Idaho Legacy Partners and is the founder and managing partner of Rectify Partners, a management advisory firm in the Region.

Prior to founding Rectify Partners, Mr. Sayer served as the Secretary of Commerce for the state of Idaho. As a member of the Governor’s cabinet, he was instrumental in accelerating Idaho’s economic growth and elevating the state’s economic visibility.

His role provided Mr. Sayer a front row seat to the region’s economy and its imminent growth, and his role created a deep motivation to serve the often-forgotten, micro-cap companies in the region.

Prior to his Commerce role, Mr. Sayer spent his career as a CFO and leader in multiple companies across multiple industries including healthcare, construction, software, and manufacturing.

Most notably was his role as President and CFO of Mountain View Hospital, where he was instrumental in the turnaround of a small, private hospital, near insolvency, to becoming one of the largest healthcare systems in Idaho.

Mr. Sayer’s career in corporate finance began with Ernst and Young in Silicon Valley where he was a member of the Entrepreneurial Services Group, a team focused on serving smaller, rapidly growing companies. His experience there included public offerings and venture capital financings and was instructive in designing strategies for companies experiencing rapid growth.

Mr. Sayer has spent the bulk of his career working with smaller, micro-cap companies and understands the needs and challenges those companies face.

Mr. Sayer’s investment experience was expanded while serving as a principal in a small, private equity firm in Salt Lake City where he was responsible for financial analysis, due diligence reviews and investment valuations.

In 2012, Mr. Sayer was co-founder and a partner of the Idaho Expansion Group, an angel investment fund in eastern Idaho. The fund was focused on investing in small, early-stage Idaho companies. In October 2021, the fund closed after generating a 61.3% annual return for investors.

Jennifer Meyer brings extensive experience in business development and operations, network relationships and investment activity.

Growing up on a pistachio farm in a rural community taught her the importance of small communities and the work ethic required to succeed. Her entrepreneurial skills managing her own sheep herd and hard work helped her earn a bachelors of science in Ag Economics from New Mexico State University.

From there she spent several years in the insurance industry first working for a small, family-owned insurance agency where she learned best practices and the skills required to grow a business. She later advanced to leading regional sales across multiple states and was ranked among the top 10 managers in the country for Allstate. Eventually she opened her own insurance firm and provided business consulting services to other insurance offices.

Her entrepreneurial experience includes a natural jewelry and accessory products export company based in Ecuador where she learned supply chain management with remote independent artisans, wholesale pricing, exporting, and more. Her products were sold in Whole Foods, Cracker Barrel’s retail stores and SkyMall magazine.

Upon graduating with an MBA in Technology Commercialization from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT, she obtained a position with the newly formed USTAR program with the state of Utah. There she worked as a liaison with state funded universities, researchers, university commercialization centers, and the private sector. Her focus was in the areas of with clean energy solutions, clean technologies and zero waste manufacturing.

In 2014, she began working with Utah based VentureCapital.org and led their expansion to Idaho. As COO, she developed an extensive network with strategic partners in banking, finance, government, legal, angel investors, venture capital and private equity investors, NGO’s, entrepreneurs and universities.

She created an elite group of mentors to help early-stage tech entrepreneurs prepare for venture funding, organized and led multiple local and regional education events for entrepreneurs, and led and implemented new branding and marketing programs.

In 2016, she decided to focus on her two young daughters and family.

In 2021 she joined Idaho Legacy Partners, to apply her passion, knowledge, expertise, and connections in both Idaho and Utah to help build Idaho Legacy Partners and create a legacy of successful entrepreneurs .

Rectify Partners and its affiliate network was organized to assist businesses in the intermountain region and is focused on providing high-end, enterprise level leadership and solutions to micro-cap companies.

The Rectify team consists of experienced professionals who each have deep operational experience in complementary disciplines across multiple industries.
